Trump ally Allen Weisselberg was launched early from Rikers Island on Friday after being convicted of mendacity underneath oath in the course of the civil fraud trial of the Trump Group.

Weisselberg, the previous chief monetary officer of the Trump Group, was sentenced in April to 5 months behind bars after he pleaded responsible to 2 counts of perjury.

His legal professional Seth Rosenberg confirmed Weisselberg’s launch.

Weisselberg had previously served time at Rikers Island in 2023 for costs associated to a tax fraud scheme. He was sentenced to 5 months in jail however was eligible for launch after 100 days with break day for good habits.
