Pattern Micro has laid off 2% of its general workforce.

The Japanese cybersecurity big, which employed 7,582 staff as of June 2023, introduced the layoffs Tuesday, pitching it as a part of a enterprise transformation plan.

“Pattern Micro knowledgeable 2% of its worldwide group that their roles had been eradicated,” a spokesperson stated in an announcement. “This resolution is in alignment with Pattern Micro’s enterprise transformation and deal with buyer enlargement by way of our platform.”
