Vice President Kamala Harris has raised almost $500 million for her White Home bid within the month since President Joe Biden dropped out of the race and endorsed Harris as his substitute, NBC Information reported Tuesday.

The large windfall contains Harris’ marketing campaign and a number of other fundraising entities extra broadly affiliated along with her election effort, two sources aware of the haul instructed NBC Information.

Democrats anticipate that quantity to balloon to roughly $600 million by the top of August, a type of sources added.

The sum displays the burst of enthusiasm that accompanied Harris’ ascension to the highest of the Democratic ticket after Biden ended his marketing campaign towards Republican former President Donald Trump on July 21.

The 81-year-old incumbent’s marketing campaign was derailed by rising issues about his health to serve one other four-year time period, following his disastrous debate with Trump in late June. That debate efficiency reportedly spooked donors and led to a significant slowdown in fundraising.
